Ullapool Hill Guided Ranger Walk: from the ancient rocks under our feet to the possibilities of the future
Join the local ranger on this guided walk up Ullapool Hill.
This walk will be the chance to discuss Scottish land use and management in the lead up to the film 'Why Not Scotland?' showing later that evening as part of the Ulluminate Festival.
We will be looking at the past from the rocks under our feet to present day management we can see and we will be on the lookout for wildlife as we go.
This walk is on path, some of it uneven and some of it fairly steep. Participants must wear walking boots or trainers with good grip. Places are limited and for adults only.
We ask for donations for this event to help with our work, which goes towards education about and protection of the nature of the Highlands. Please give what you feel you can afford. We suggest a minimum donation of £10 per person to cover our costs or £20 per person to further support our work.
Please wear suitable boots and clothing. Bring sticks if needed to support walks up and downhill.
Meeting point will be confirmed after booking.
